Project Objective

Evaluation the effective of the #SAFE system, a cellular based Advanced Transportation Weather Information System (ATWIS) technology.

Project Abstract

Dakota, the ATWIS program’s long-term goal is to “According to the Regional Weather Information Center at the University of North establish a long-term user fee supported program to continue to provide advanced transportation weather information to the traveling public and the transportation infrastructure in which it exists.”
