The State of the Practice will document innovative transportation-related emergency medical service technology and communications applications, activities or projects employed by state emergency medical services agencies.
To improve accident reporting through the application of advanced technology to increase the accuracy and completeness of accident reporting and to reduce the time necessary.
This evaluation will compare oversize vehicle detection systems, assess their effectiveness, and provide recommendations for an integrated detection and traveler information system to improve safety in the Narrows Corridor of northern California.
The objective of this project is to provide research and support activities to help California and Oregon achieve the COATS vision of promoting bi-state cooperation and communication that will develop, deploy and coordinate cost-effective and environmentally agreeable intelligent transportation systems.
The purpose of this project is to support implementation and evaluation of a VMS/HAR pilot deployment in Grand Canyon National Park.
